12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 12 NEW YEARS SHINE

On the 12th day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy gave to me.....

My New Years Eve Outfit

We are a few hours away from 2018 and what a year it was.  I like to say 2017 was the year of change.  I saw so many people in my life change something in their life.  From babies, to jobs, to engagements I saw so much growth in 2017.  Lets hope it Keep it going for 2018 right?

For this outfit I decided to go with pink and green.  I love pink so want to wear it for the New Year and green is a lucky color to wear on new years so thought this sequins green would be great way to wear this lucky color.

I fell in love with the coat the moment I saw at Simply Be Holiday Party.  I love how fluffy and warm it is.  I just had to have it!!!! Plus I will definitely come in handy tonight with the temperature being so cold.  It is like the most fashionable throw cover and it was so so hard to take off.

The thing I loved about this skirt was its ability to become black and the sequins changed color.  So if you see a black sequins skirt you know what happened. (#swipeleft) lol

2017 was a great year for me and I cant not be more happy with the results.  I gain some new friends, old friendships were tested, hosted some online stuff, had a campaign or two, gained a masters degree, gained a new job, grew my network and so many more goals were accomplished I cant name them all (I REALLY CAN'T).
I am truly excited for 2018 and cant wait for you all to join me in 2018!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS STYLISTAS!!!

Oh almost forgot...

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS: LOOK 11 EMERALD CITY

On the 11th day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy gave to me.....

Emerald Green Suit w. Gold touches

For those of you who don't know its good luck to have green in your pocket for the new Year.  Whats even better.....put on some green of course.  This metallic green suit is both fashionable, sexy and totally BOSS!!!!

I paired the suit with gold and black to give it some color. Pattern on Pattern may scare a few people but I am a BOSS so I'm never scared to break some of fashion  old rules (and neither should you).
To put it short, I feel like the HNIC in this suit and think it is perfect for a New Year Party.

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 10: FUR & VELVET

On the 10th day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy gave to me.....

Fur Jacket &Velvet Dress

This velvet dress is simple but will make any women's night on the town amazing.  As soon as I put this on I was in love.  The simpleness of the dress made it easy to wear.  The only thing I had to figure out is what to wear over it?  Its been a cold few days in NYC so what else could I wear but a nice (imitation) fur jacket.

I've never been a huge fan of fur but it has been such a huge trend this season.  I had to have a little bit this winter.
To finish off the look I added pattern tights booties.  Simple yet fashionable right!?!  The key to rocking fur is to let it shine the most in your outfit.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!
First I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and my you get everything you wanted this holiday.  I hope you are surrounded by family and friends and that you are safe and well.  The year is almost done but NEC STYLE wanted to give a gift of great fashion (as I only know how too).  So here you go!!!!

On the 9th day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy gave to me....

Santa Baby Little Red Dress

So as you may have notice I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!! Its so comfortable and yet so festive.  I really loved the fabric (I mean who likes uncomfortable fabric) and the design was perfect for the season.  A jewel mule and pattern stockings finished off the outfit and gave it the perfect amount of sparkle.
I didn't want to add too much to the look so some statement earrings and a small cocktail ring was all that's needed.  I finished off with lipstick from my girl untamed cosmetics.  The color has the perfect hit of Christmas sparkle that is amazing for any occasion.

A tree really does grow in Brooklyn!!!!

We maybe at Christmas but the fashion will continue with 10-12 being NYE outfits!!!! So get ready for the 12 dresses of Christmas New Years!!!!

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 7: NOT SO LITTLE BLACK DRESS

On the 7th day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy Gave to me.....
A not so little black dress

This dress has a great feel look and style to it that is sexy yet sophisticated.  I fabric is incredibly soft and the skit is so sex.  When I walk you get to see that peekaboo thigh that is the right amount of sexy.

The back of the dress is completely out with a tie.  Isn't that just cute!!!! The high low is great for women who have a larger bottom then top but also great for taller women ad the dress flows.

I added red shoes and a black purse with statement earrings to complete the look!!!

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 8: REMIX OF CHRISTMAS PASS

On the 9th day of Christmas my fashion fairy gave to me....
A remix from Christmas Past

Last year I wore these sequin cigarette pants and they were a big hit.  I wanted to show that fashion doesn't mean that you buy something new every year!!! So for this outfit we remix the sequin pants by adding a leather jacket and lace sweater with velvet bra.

I decided to let these pants shine as they are suppose to and kept everything plain.

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 6: UGLY SWEATER W. FUN WITH FRIENDS

On the 6th day of Christmas my fashion fairy gave to me....

An ugly shirt for my ugly sweater party w. FWF
For the third year in a row, I attended the ugly sweater Christmas party thrown by Fun with Friends.

I always enjoy this party and it has become one of my holiday traditions to attend with my girl Camelia.

The best DJ ever...I come out for Taela Naomi every year
There is always great people, great dancing and a great DJ.  This year we had three!  One even came all the way from across the pond.

Because the night is filled with dancing, I decided to not do a sweater but a shirt in order to remain cool and keep dancing.

This shirt was simple but very festive.  Paired with black sneakers and some breathable paint I was able to stay on the dance floor all night long.

FWF believes in philanthropy as well as fun!  As well as a ugly sweater everyone donated a gift the owner of the club.  She let the crowd now that FWF help her to reach her goal of 5,000 toys to give out to kids of parent who are incarcerated or on hard times.
Isn't that just amazing.

Top three ugly sweater...I really liked the one far right

Winner of the Ugly Sweater Contest 5 years in a row DAAAAAME!!!
Outside of a bartender with an attitude and the coat check girl trying  to charge extra for my small book bag, (yep I tell you when your events are doing right and when they are doing wrong) the event was amazing.

This is such a great time and such a great crowd I will defiantly party with FWF for years to come.

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 5: FB LIVE WITH DIA AND CO

On the 5th day of Christmas my fashion fairy gave to me....

Pleated leather skirt and Bird Shirt w. Dia & Co. FB live

On Monday, I had the pleasure of talking with Dia & Co on fashion how to handle family member during the holidays.
As I am doing "12 Dresses of Christmas" and Dia was doing "12 days of Dia", it was a great way to bring the two worlds together.

Along with our host Ashby, I was chatting next to some amazing women. The panel consist of Jessica Torres and Kayla who works for Dia. Also, artist Jonquel was drawing two winners of our FB live. How great is that?

For this event outfit I decided to wear an outfit ready to go from work to fun. I love this outfit because it worked perfect for my office but was able to work well on camera.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS...SEXUAL

I KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING!!! (get your mind out the gutter)

I had a chance to sample Sexual by Michel Germain at their holiday dinner in SoHo. We got a chance to test the product and hear the background on it a well.

Sexual doesn't only smell good but it look good as well. The bottle is topped with over 100+ Swarovski Crystals on top and is a really cute bottle. According to the website Sexual is "French blackcurrant veiled with sparkling champagne clementine mixes with passionflower and romantic jasmine." In short it smell delicious.

What I loved the most about the fragrance was that it has a men's cologne to match it. How cute is that!!!
Both fragrances are made to balance each other and would be a great gift for a married couple.    Its awesome that a fragrance company thought to play well to both a man and woman when developing the scent.

Needless to say I love this new fragrance and will be wearing all through the holiday.

You can Find Sexual and all of Michel Germain fragrances in Macy's and on their website
www.michelgermain.com

I suggest the 3pc. gift set so she can find which Sexual fit her best.

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS LOOK 4: BLACK & GOLD W. TRACY ELLIS ROSS COLLECTION

ON THE 4TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS MY FASHION FAIRY GAVE TO ME...
.
BLACK JUMPSUIT & GOLD QUILTED JACKET

Nothing says holiday like Black and Gold together.  This year I paired my my gold quilted jacket with the new Tracy Ellis Ross Jumper from J.C. Penny.
This jumper is strapless and very roomy.  It moves a lot and works well for my height.  Also I love how roomy it was.  It gave me the ability to show off what I like and hide what I didn't.

I paired the jumper with black and gold jewelry and a very red holiday lipstick. Also, my white and gold clutch from two seasons ago has made a comeback this year.

This is one of the easiest outfits I have every put together and the most fun. Thank you to JC Penny and Traci Ellis Ross for creating this fabulous collection

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS: ROYAL-TY W. LANE BRYANT

On the 3rd day of Christmas my Fashion Fairy gave to me....
Royal Blue Ruffle Dress

After yellow comes blue right?  Well on my list it does! I first saw this dress while at a preview for fall and fell in love.  After speaking to LB design team, I had to have it apart of my holiday list.
I am not big on body con dresses but the design and material was very forgiving to my "trouble" areas.   The dress has a ruffle detail to the side which is super cute.  My only suggestion is to size up.  If your an 22/24 go with the 24.

To finish off the look, I paired the dress with my Blue cape coat and added a vamp purple lips.  I kept my jewelry to a minimum with a necklace and cocktail ring.

12 DRESSES OF CHRISTMAS: BODAK YELLOW W. ELOQUII

ON THE 2nd DAY OF CHRISTMAS MY FASHION FAIRY GAVE TO ME...

Eloquii Tie neck blazer and pleated skirt

Color on Color is a huge trend this season. For the holiday, instead of all black try all of one color.  I picked yellow because I love the color and the way it complements my skin tone.  The great thing about this look is it can be duplicated in MANY different colors.  From all black (if you prefer) to all white and several colors in between, Eloquii created enough colors of this blazer and skirt that it can be done to fit everyone skin tone.

Pared this look with booties and some simple jewlery.  But to break up the colors I added my gold patchwork clutch.  Im not a big fan of small clutches but this one had so weight and was big enough to hold my phone so it worked.
