ELOQUII SHOES ARE AMAZING & NOW I CAN WEAR THEM!!!

If you know me...you know that I am a huge fan of Eloquii.

I love there fashion and they usually made amazing shoes unfortunately for so long I was not able to wear them because unfortunately I wear a size 13W.  It is so hard to find shoes to begin with so to find shoes that are fashion forward is almost non existent.  My choices have been limited to Torrid, Avenue and some times I can get these pups into Nordstrom Rack.  Could you image only having THREE choices of where to buy shoes.  Its down right sad. Because of this shoes have been my least favorite part of fashion.
Thanks to Eloquii my shoe game as increase by 1.....

Recently their spring shoe line has increased to include a few great designs in slides and shoes for the summer.

Here are a the shoes from Eloquii that comes in all sizes including 13W

Even though the full like is not in a all sizes its a HUGE step in the right direction.  I need all 9 of the above but willing to try these as well...

These shoes are so on trend with all I am seeing for the summer and wanted to share with my stylistas!!! Look, if I cant wear it I think someone should!!!!

OOTD: SUMMER BREEZE....

Nothing says summer like a yellow & lace.  This summer dress brings both together.

I love a fit and flair dress just as much as the next fashioninsta so when I saw this dress I had to try it on.
I did not have to go up in size and the straps were adjustable to fit my shorter upper body.  With the floral applique floral jacket and some wedges and I was ready to go.

I traded in my normal studs for flamingos (great way to add some playfulness to the outfit)

Top off with some rose gold sun glasses and im all set.

NYFW FINAL SHOW: SMART GLAMOR FALL 2016

photo from smartglamour.com
The final show I attended for NYFW was the Smart Glamour fashion show for their Fall collection.  The show started with a video of the models talking about model inclusion and body positivist.  It was an emotional video filled with truth.  It was refreshing to see women of all shapes , sizes and races expressing themselves in the most raw way.
After the video finished the fashion show began.  The collection was filled with color and surprises.  From mix material dresses jumpers that are perfect for the office to statement bomber jackets the collection was in one word Bold.
The great thing that I learned was that all items start at a size small and go up to a 6XL.  Also items can be custom made to fit your body to a tee.

Here are some of the outfits that I absolutely loved from the collection....

Can you believe these are jumpers!!!

Thanks to smart Glamour for making such an inclusive fashion show.  This was a great way to end my fashion week!!!

OOTD: DATE NIGHT DRESS

Friday is about the only time I 'm able to get out for some romantic bit of fun.  Yes I am single and yes I do date so I make it a point to have something in my closet I can wear that is not complicated but sexy for pop up dates.

Being sexy and comfortable is hard right?  Wrong!!!!
The time that I felt most sexy is when I felt the most comfortable. This dress is short for my everyday wear but is just right for being sexy.  The fabric is a stretch cotton like material so it doesn't feel over dresses like some other dresses.  Patterns are my favorite thing in fashion so this makes me very happy with the multi square effect. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING IT HAS POCKETS!!!

For hoping in or out of my UBER or short walking distances, this dress is killer. I love the amount of leg I am showing for a date night in this dress.   I've never let me size make me feel like I couldn't wear patters (as most other advise against) This dress keeps it fashionable and the obi tie belt defines my shape giving me a shapely look.

Remember....
When you feel sexy you are sexy

OOTD: FLORAL SKIRT & LACE TOP

Hey Stylistas!!!!

I haven't posted an outfit in sometime due to weather and busy schedule.   I've had this skirt for some time but wasn't able to get this skirt shot so waited because I wanted to make sure you guys were the first to see this.  Skirt is from indie designer Siobahn who I did an "Style Eye" on some time back.  I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I took it out its box.  Thanks Siobahn for this skirt and I do plan on shooting this shirt a whole lot more.  (Don't worry....I post a link to the skirt below)

I love me a crop top as well so pull this one back out of the closet  because when its too hot for clothes I wear lace!!!

NYFW MENSWEAR: NICK GRAHAM SS17

“It was a fascinating period, with the Tropicana Club at the center of the action.  Americans would come in droves and party like they couldn’t in the United States,”- Nick Graham

As you walked into this fashion show you were hit with the sound of a full Cuban Band playing.  It was evident from the band and the names on the platform that this was going to be a production and not just a show.  This has come to be expected from designer Nick Graham.  From the fall birds, twigs and bark of last season to the salsa, showgirls and samba of  this season, Nick Graham presentation of  "OUR MEN IN HAVANA"  emerge for NYFW menswear.

Celebrities, Stylist and Scientist all loved Nick Gram Collection
This collection pays homage to Havana of the 1950's were mobsters, gangsters and royalty alike went to have a good time.  “Once Havana fell, the Americans moved to Vegas, along with the showgirls and everything else that came with it.” With a good time in mind, Graham fashion show started with  show girls dancing in amazing revealing costumes, feather head dresses and smiles.  Each model was introduced as a covert fashion detective with was fictionalize agent names like "Faux Fur Fidel from CUBA" & "Knickers Knickerson from  EAST GERMANY" to name a few.

Here are a few of my fave looks...
Faux Fur Fidel - CUBA. Chad White.
White Straw Fedora, 3-Piece Linen Suit, Exploded Fern Print Shirt.

Dr. Maybe (Dr. No, medicated).  Emmanuel Amorin.
Blue Microcheck 3-Piece Suit, Fleur de Lys shirt, Blue Polka Dot Tie, Tie Bar, Paisley Pocket Square.

Elastic Evansson - FINLAND. Sebastian Sauve.
Blue Window Pane 3-Piece Suit, White Shirt, Blue Knit Tie.
Nick collection was a blend of linens and seersucker which is key for spring/summer fashion for men.  The Cuban influence was represented all through the collection.  With tropical short suits, floral print tops and crisp all white suits with small hits of blue the Cuban 1950's influence was very easy to see.  With flowing scarfs, loafers and wide brim fedora, the accessories top off the collection perfectly.

Designer, Nick Gram, giving his last jump and thank you
