4TH OF JULY OUTFIT: PLUS EDITION

Welcome to the kick of of Summer 2018!
Rather your at the BBQ, beach, movies or just chillin  playing games with your family and friends, make sure you show up in style.

Below are some quick cute ideas for Memorial Day weekend.

All these looks come in plus size and come up to a size 26-28

BBQ Outfit
Just because there is smoke doesn't mean you don't have to look amazing.  Try out these outfits for a daytime BBQ.

Maxi Dress
I love a great Maxi dress.  Its the perfect way to be dressed up without being dressed up.  I've arrange some casual and not so casual option that are begging to be worn this weekend.

Swimwear
If your luck and the weather holds out try wearing something that is red white and blue to the beach.  I love two piece suits for days like this.  You can mix and match them later  in the summer to create a whole new suit.  See below for some great bathing suits in plus size this season

No work next day?  Lets party tonight
We don't have to go to work Wednesday so lets hang out tonight.  See below outfits for the best way to spice up a date night or a hot time in the club with your girlfriends.

OOTD: LETS GET FLORAL!!!

Its Winter and its been hard to shoot looks in these winter NYC streets.  BUT, I had to share this look with you all.  I love to shop semi anal sales at the beginning of the year and I lucked up on this suit for 60% off.  Yes that's right 60%!!! Now, this is not a normal for me because my size is always the first to go but sometimes things just work out for the best.

In order to finish off the look I added a bag and tassel earrings.  I fell in love with these earrings from when I first saw them online.  Plus this cold weather required a hat in order to stay warm.

JIBRI FALL 2017 COLLECTION

AHHH!!!!!
That's the sound I made when I saw Jibri launched her fall 17 collection.

The collection had some signature pieces from the designer like flight pants and high waist strait pants.
I was very impressed with the gold and green color palette and the influx of velvet.
But don't think this collection at all was predictable.  There were some garments that had me clutching my pearls.
Here are a few items from the collection I am loving.

BLOGGER STAY-CATION: SPA & SWIMSUITS

To close our stay-cation, we decided to relax at Premier 57 spa in Midtown Manhattan. This spa was exactly what we needed to end our stay-cation. Premier 57 has everything we needed to relax and relate before we head back to the grind on Monday.  Spa included hydro therapy pools, relaxation lounge, water lounge and sauna's.

Jonquel and I twinning in similar bathing suits
We started in the hydro therapy pools to open our pours, have a drink and let the jets massage our bodies.

Next we headed to Sauna Area. At the Spa I had three Sauna rooms that I loved.

1. Chromo Room
You to bathe in light in order to return balance "energy" within the mind, body and soul.

2.  Himalayan Salt Room
Which smelled like a salty beach. Great reminder of California and at 160 degrees it was hot like Cali too.

 3. Ice Igloo Room
This is a cold room sitting at a cool 32 degrees. As most of you know I'm a polar bear so I spend a lot of time in this room.

A lot of the ladies was loving the Gold Room which was made of 10K gold but you cant get me to do 160 degrees twice!!!!

Brooke looks good in the Gold Room

As soon as I saw thins photos I thought Soul Glow!!! lol

Premier 57 has everything you can want in a spa and was a perfect end to our stay-cation. Also these bathing suits were just amazing right.  Click Here for detail on my swimsuit but all of our swimsuits can be purchased at Swimsuits four All.

OOTD: LEATHER FLOWER POWER

BACK ON A BROOKLYN ROOF TOP were rockin' leather and jeans.  This floral embroidered jacket from the Ashley N. Tipton collection was everything a girl could as for.  It is right on trend with floral embroidery and the studded lapel gave it  the right amount of edge.

I wanted the jacked to stand out so I wore a simple white long line tee and slim fit jeans.  The shirt is long in length but have high slits.  I can see me wearing this top for many more seasons to come.  In order t add some color, I added a skinny yellow belt and pink sandals to match the colors in the jacket but really I just let the jacket shine!!! That is the key to a great outfit

OOTD: GET A LITTLE SEXY PRABAL GURUNG PART II

I say all the time "God knew what he was doing when me made me a big girl cause if I was skinny I would never wear clothes!"  Some would say that it should matter what size I am where as little or as much as you want (and I agree) but with years of people telling me to cover up, I've gotten into my head that "you can be fashionable but sexy...no" Its sometimes hard to show a little skin....but not this outfit.

This floral top it made it a whole lot easier to show a little skin in this warmer weather.  It was the first thing I though to do when I saw the skirt.  Once I added the blue trench I knew this would be a great outfit!!!

The "fanny pack" made its return stylistas!!!!

I had so much fun rocking this outfit.  The accessories I add was such a great add to a sexy outfit.

HEY STYLISTAS!!!!
I know I know..its been a LONG time since I did an outfit post.
I can only say that grad school is a killer but that's still no excuse to not bring you guys the business!!!  I really miss sharing my style with you guys but I kept putting it off because school, my mini me, family/friends or sickness (will tell you about that later) kept getting in the way of creating bomb ass photos.  So I decided to make a date with my stylistas to give you guys some eye candy.

I got a room at the FAB Fairmont hotel in Brooklyn and and snapped some amazing photos in their lobby.  How perfect was this room for my outfit!!! Can I just say that I had some staff turning heads but what an amazing feeling to be back in front of the camera.

The red what and blue print on print is just what I need to kick start spring 2017!!! I love everything about this print and the mixing and matching I will do with other things in my closet will extend the life of these for a very long time. .

Kept my accessories simple to accentuate the silver buttons of the shirt but had to break out my red heels and blue bag to tie the colors together.

Trust and believe I will try my best to not stay away so long.  But there's more to come.
