BLOGGER NYC STAY-CATION: GIRLS TRIP HIGH TEA

After a nights rest from the first day of our vacation (see blogger stay-cation day 1) we headed to the city for brunch.  As we're all bloggers, you know we had to do Start our second day off big right?

In car makeup came out really good
Sunday high tea and brunch at the illustrious Alice's Tea Cup II....that's a great way to start!!!
First, a little about Alice's Tea Cup. The atmosphere is great for conversation, laughter and some fun. Growing up I never watch Alice In Wonderland (the basis for the restaurant) but my blogger boos set me strait so I would understand the restaurant theme more.  I was the only one mad because the tea cups and plates didn't match.  I know better now.  I loved the quaintness of the restaurant (if you can even call it that) and the atmosphere was amazing.   Plus you may get a celebrity citing.  Don't forget this is the location for movies such as "Trainwreck" so you never know when Amy Schumer or Scarlett Johansen will walk by your table and say hello (second part really happened).

The food at Alice's Tea Cup was amazing too. The food was just AMAZING!!! Our three tier brunch of finger sandwiches, scones plus omelets and three different kinds of tea was perfect for a Sunday brunch.  Not to mention some tea infused drinks that were the perfect topper.
My brunch was looking right!!!!

Everyone brunch was good too!!!

After brunch what comes next....photos.

We took photos in our Sunday best.  Had a complements all through the streets and we snapped away.  How great we looks and ANOTHER celebrity citing and complement from Jerry Seinfeld.  Thanks to Eloquii, were we able to really show our fashionable Sunday wear.  I love that we all decided to wear color, patterns and designs to show how girls of all size can wear any pattern or color.  We range from 10-28, traditional to sporty, tall to short with all different body types but I have to say we looked really good today.  Here are photos from the day.

Special shout out to our Sponsor Eloquii and Alice's Tea Cup for an amazing day.

SPRING TRENDY BAGS FROM TARGET.COM

This bag from YSL is the top trending bag for SPRING.  But with a price tag at just over $2200!!!!, that is way too much for my trendy budget.  When buying accessories I make sure too keep a budget.  They are trending items.  I may not like them next season so there is no reason to spend thousands of dollars on them.
Don't get me wrong....if you got it...buy it but,  trendy items go in and out with the changing of the season and $2200 for a seasonal bag doesn't work for most of us right!?!

For trendy handbags that wont break your pocket, I have partnered with Target.com to present the 5 top trendy yet affordable bags for spring 2017.  Some may even make it all year long.

STYLE EYE ON: LU LA ROE BUTTA LEGGINGS

"Where Fashion Meets Comfort"

While at Curves Rock fashion weekend I got a chance to meat Heather and Hanna.  These women are fashion consultants for Lu La Roe, a clothing company made for individuals to sell clothing online or from their living room to friends and family alike. The clothing rage from size (0)XXS-3XL(24) and even have clothing for kids and now mens.
I had heard of the line before but never met a consultant to ask questions or to test the clothing line.

Heather swears by Lu La Roe leggings and told me they were a must try.  There sat an array of leggings in the most beautiful patterns and colors I had seen.  She told me the clothing was all true to size and allowed me to pick from her own personal stash of leggings.    As I unrolled one of the leggings I instantly became skeptical.
"Ummmm.... are you sure this is a 3XL?"
"Yes!" Heather replied.
I loved the print and the softness of the fabric attracted me so I said okay and stuffed them in my bag.  What came next was a huge shock.

It took a little stretching but once the leggings got over my thighs I was happy to see they fit and fit well.  They came over my belly!!!!   Well HELLO!!!
Not only did they fit but they were super soft.  I could not believe how soft they were.  Plus, they were full coverage so no cellulite shows through them.

The other thing I loved were the design.  Me being me I picked highly graphic designs but they also came in an plain colors.  Designs and colors are limited editions so once they are sold out...that is it.
Prices for leggings start at $25.
Contact Heather  for a list of patterns and colors available for curvy leggings.  Leave them a message and they will get back to you
I will need a black and another pattern for this fall myself.
