BLOGGER STAY-CATION: SPA & SWIMSUITS

To close our stay-cation, we decided to relax at Premier 57 spa in Midtown Manhattan. This spa was exactly what we needed to end our stay-cation. Premier 57 has everything we needed to relax and relate before we head back to the grind on Monday.  Spa included hydro therapy pools, relaxation lounge, water lounge and sauna's.

Jonquel and I twinning in similar bathing suits
We started in the hydro therapy pools to open our pours, have a drink and let the jets massage our bodies.

Next we headed to Sauna Area. At the Spa I had three Sauna rooms that I loved.

1. Chromo Room
You to bathe in light in order to return balance "energy" within the mind, body and soul.

2.  Himalayan Salt Room
Which smelled like a salty beach. Great reminder of California and at 160 degrees it was hot like Cali too.

 3. Ice Igloo Room
This is a cold room sitting at a cool 32 degrees. As most of you know I'm a polar bear so I spend a lot of time in this room.

A lot of the ladies was loving the Gold Room which was made of 10K gold but you cant get me to do 160 degrees twice!!!!

Brooke looks good in the Gold Room

As soon as I saw thins photos I thought Soul Glow!!! lol

Premier 57 has everything you can want in a spa and was a perfect end to our stay-cation. Also these bathing suits were just amazing right.  Click Here for detail on my swimsuit but all of our swimsuits can be purchased at Swimsuits four All.

BLOGGER NYC STAY-CATION: GIRLS TRIP HIGH TEA

After a nights rest from the first day of our vacation (see blogger stay-cation day 1) we headed to the city for brunch.  As we're all bloggers, you know we had to do Start our second day off big right?

In car makeup came out really good
Sunday high tea and brunch at the illustrious Alice's Tea Cup II....that's a great way to start!!!
First, a little about Alice's Tea Cup. The atmosphere is great for conversation, laughter and some fun. Growing up I never watch Alice In Wonderland (the basis for the restaurant) but my blogger boos set me strait so I would understand the restaurant theme more.  I was the only one mad because the tea cups and plates didn't match.  I know better now.  I loved the quaintness of the restaurant (if you can even call it that) and the atmosphere was amazing.   Plus you may get a celebrity citing.  Don't forget this is the location for movies such as "Trainwreck" so you never know when Amy Schumer or Scarlett Johansen will walk by your table and say hello (second part really happened).

The food at Alice's Tea Cup was amazing too. The food was just AMAZING!!! Our three tier brunch of finger sandwiches, scones plus omelets and three different kinds of tea was perfect for a Sunday brunch.  Not to mention some tea infused drinks that were the perfect topper.
My brunch was looking right!!!!

Everyone brunch was good too!!!

After brunch what comes next....photos.

We took photos in our Sunday best.  Had a complements all through the streets and we snapped away.  How great we looks and ANOTHER celebrity citing and complement from Jerry Seinfeld.  Thanks to Eloquii, were we able to really show our fashionable Sunday wear.  I love that we all decided to wear color, patterns and designs to show how girls of all size can wear any pattern or color.  We range from 10-28, traditional to sporty, tall to short with all different body types but I have to say we looked really good today.  Here are photos from the day.

Special shout out to our Sponsor Eloquii and Alice's Tea Cup for an amazing day.

BLOGGER NYC STAY-CATION: GIRLS TRIP DAY 1

As a native New Yorker, I realized I don't get to enjoy all things the city has to offer.  I was inspired by the movie "Girls Trip" to take advantage of my city and create a Stay-cation for me and a few of my girlfriends.  Like the movie, I wanted to hang out with some girlfriends leave the drama behind and have a good time.  As bloggers, we all get so busy so it was nice to take some time to just relax. With Marlena-
Big City, Curvy Girl, Thin Wallet, Brooke-Madame Finehouse, Fabiola-Fabiola Michelle, Jonquel-Jonquel Art and Marcy-Fearlessly Just Me with myself, we set off to our
first ever Stay-cation weekend.

Our first day was all about GIRL POWER.  We started our stay-cation with a Private Museum Tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Courtesy of Museum Hack we took the BABS
(Bad Ass Bitches) tour to see women artist featured at the Met. Here are some pics of women of the the MET.

What they were looking at I still don't know!!!

Thanks to our tour guide for being kick ass and for free ice cream
Museum Hack offers tours of other Musums and tours as well.  I will be doing their Beta Tour soon.  Click HERE to find our own tour.

After we had a quick snack we heading downtown to watch "Girls Trip" at the IPIC movie theater for dinner and a movie.  I was so relax I almost fell asleep!!! Guess that's what large reclining seats will do for you.

Side Question:  Wanna guess which character I am?  Go on. I wont be offended.

Great movie, great drinks and great food is all I needed to end my day. It was too much fun learning and connecting more with these amazing women but the next day was even more fun!!!

Ready for another fun filled Day??? Stay tuned....
